ITW SYSTEMS were selected as a supplier of the LED lighting for street lighting of the area around the Eurovision venue.

The new lighting provides bright and uniform illumination on the road and on the sidewalks. The illumination more than doubled. The use of light diffusing polycarbonate and elongated shape of the light fixture ensure comfortable lighting and avoids the blinding effect for drivers and pedestrians.

For this project in particular, we used light fixtures of 130W and color temperature 4000K – comfortable neutral white color. To ensure the required uniformity of the light, we used wide-angled road optics.

Use of LED technology for the street lighting affords significant reduction in electricity consumption. In addition, it allows us to achieve a long period of uninterrupted operation (minimum of 5 years), without the need for repairs and maintenance.
