Coca-Cola Hellenic Ukraine soft drinks plant was built in 1998. It is located in Velyka Dymerka village not far from Kiev. At the time of its opening, the plant was one of the biggest and most modern enterprises among all the manufacturers of non-alcoholic beverages in Europe.

The ITW SYSTEMS team conducted a detailed lighting audit. This resulted in a highly innovative project design which secured significant savings in electricity expenses while improving the quality of lighting to conform to the corporate standards of Coca-Cola. 

The light fixtures for Coca-Cola were purpose-built at ITW SYSTEMS’ factory in Ukraine. These LED lamps reduced have reduced the cost of electricity associated with lighting by 62.5% while providing the high-quality, reliable lighting Coca-Cola Hellenic Ukraine needs in order to run an efficient, 24-hour operation. The lighting has proven to be extremely reliable. Additional savings were achieved due to optimal positioning of the lamps taking into consideration the layout of manufacturing equipment and warehouse racks.

The CREE LED chips were used in this project.
